One week after its largest investor released a public letter criticizing how management is operating Toronto-based Slate Office REIT, the trust has created a special committee to conduct a “comprehensive review of strategic alternatives.”
The federal government is accelerating plans to significantly reduce its office footprint in Ottawa-Gatineau and across the country, and compiling a list of properties to divest or make available for redevelopment partnerships.
